PAYMENT OF FEES

Modes of Payment
  • Yearly - The total assessed amount is paid in full upon enrolment. A three per cent (3%) discount is given for the tuition fee if enrolment is done before the scheduled date of enrolment.
  • Semestral - The total assessed amount is paid in two (2) installments. The first installment is paid upon enrolment and the second installment is paid not later than November 10 of the current school year. Failure to pay on the due date means automatic conversion to monthly mode of payment.
  • Quarterly - The total assessed amount is paid in four (4) installments. The first installment is paid upon enrolment and the succeeding three installments are payable on the tenth (10th) day of September, December and February of the current school year respectively. Failure to pay on the due date means automatic conversion to monthly mode of payment.
  • Monthly - The total assessed amount is paid in ten (10) installments. The first installment is paid upon enrolment and the succeeding nine (9) installments are payable on the first ten days of every month. A surcharge of twenty pesos (Php 20.00) per month is imposed for late payments.

Refund of Fees
When a student is officially registered in either Grade School or High School department, it is understood that he/she is enrolled for the entire school year. However in cases that they need to withdraw or transfer their enrolment from St. Mary's Academy - Pasay during the first three (3) weeks after registration, they are entitled for a refund of their payment based on the following percentage:
  • Eighty Percent (80%) of the total payment is refunded if official withdrawal is applied within one week after registration.
  • Fifty Per Cent (50%) of the total payment is refunded if official withdrawal is applied within the second or third week after registration.
  • There will be no refund given to those who withdraw after the third week from the date of official registration. If a student drops unofficially he/she is obliged to pay his/her dues continually based on the mode of payment he/she had chosen upon registration.
Note: Dropouts are required to pay their balances according to their mode of payment based on the official date in the dropping form. Formal withdrawal takes effect only when the Dropping Form from the Records Center is accomplished and submitted.

Personal Check Payments
When a parent issues a check for paying his/her child/s dues, it is understood that he/she has a bank account with sufficient fund for the amount stated on the check. However a three-day allowance is required for bank clearance thus a provisionary receipt is issued to personal check payers before he/she obtains the official receipt of payments which could be claimed on the fourth day after the said check issuance.

Note: This form of payment is not acceptable for the fourth quarter examination unless done five (5) banking days before the final examination.

Manager's/Company Check Payments
Manager's and company checks are considered as cash thus a payment of dues using any of the said checks entitles an official receipt upon issuance of the check.

Bounced Check
Issuance of personal checks without sufficient fund is an act punishable by law. Thus St. Mary's Academy - Pasay has the option to take legal action for those who committed such an act. The finance office has the right to refuse another check payment from anybody who commits this punishable act.

Discounts for Early Enrolments
Those who enroll before and during the scheduled enrolment dates with cash basis as mode of payment are entitled to a 3% discount from the tuition fee.
