Welcome to St. Mary's Academy

St. Mary's Academy is a FILIPINO, CATHOLIC AND AN IGNACIAN MARIAN school administered by the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM), the first pontifical Filipino Congregation for women in the Philippines, founded in 1684 by a Filipina, Venerable Ignacia del Espiritu Santo.

St. Mary's Academy is located at P. Burgos St., Pasay City, Metro Manila, a thickly populated community with both residential and commercial centers. The school's population is composed mostly of students who reside not only in Pasay City but also from the neighboring districts of Metro Manila. They come from families of mixed socio-economic status, with an average intelligence, capable of acquiring a truly Christian education offered in the Grade and High School Departments.

St. Mary's Academy adheres to the call of the Secondary Plenary Council of the Philippines (PCPII) to be an institution of learning that provides an experience of Christian community to every learner who will imbue the world with Christian values. Hence, Christian Living being the Core of the Curriculum is integrated in all subject areas.

St. Mary's Academy has qualified and dedicated teaching and support staff who believe in their important role of creating an atmosphere where Christ is the foundation of the whole educational enterprise and the need to imbibe an apostolic spirit to be living witnesses of Christ both in the classroom and in their personal lives.
